And another

Can you tell I've got loads of Forever Friends stuff!!! This is a die cut decoupage image .. makes a nice change from cutting them out, although to be honest I do like cutting out .. probably in the minority I think!!!
I used my new Fiskars Daisy border punch and finished off with punched flowers, gems and ribbon.
Hope you all had a good weekend xx

In Memory of Layton

As a few of you may already be aware, Jak at Crafters Kitchen, recently lost her little great nephew Layton to meningitis.
Please read her story here, and maybe you can help a little towards fundraising for the Meningitis Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign.
Thank you and sleep well little Layton xx

My very first Halloween card!!!!!

Hard to believe but I've never, ever made a Halloween card in all the four years I've been cardmaking!! Never been asked to do one so never bothered .. but darling daughter Samantha asked for one this year so couldn't wait to make one!!!
Used a Pumpkin and Aubergine sticker (from the Daisy & Dandelion range), oval and labels nesties, SU oval punches, computer generated sentiment and finished it all off with the usual ribbon and pearls.
Hope you all have a great weekend xx

What is this flower??

As per usual I haven't got the foggiest idea what the flower is .. but it's lovely. It's yet another die-cut decoupage sheet and the gorgeous backing paper is from the Papermania Signature range "Blueberry Hill". Finished with pearls and ribbon and used my new Fiskars punch that I bought at the weekend.
Enjoy your evening xx
And finally ...

My favourite of them all .. I just love the colours and everything on this one.
Just stuck a bit of blue spotty paper on the front of the card and finished with white ribbon, couple of punched snowflakes and a bow!! Simples!!
Have a nice day xx

What an honour!!

Guess what??? I've only been asked to be a Guest Designer by Boni of the Digital Ink Co. which in itself is amazing as I don't do colouring much, I'm more a decoupage girl as you all know, but unfortunately I've had to make the hard decision of turning the position down as I know I won't be able to commit myself at this time .. I've got too many projects on the go at the moment.
So thanks a million Boni and Jackie (the sly little beggar that put my name forward) and maybe one day in the future when I've nothing to do (yeah right) I might get the chance again!!
Have a nice weekend everybody xxx

Fred's Flowers

Not made a card with Tracey's flowers for ages, so when I saw this new sheet on her blog I couldn't resist it ... it's stunning!!! At the moment she only has it in blue but with enough encouragement and feedback she may do it in more colours!!! Pleeeease Tracey!! lol, oh and the pinstripe background is also from Tracey!!
I printed it onto 180gsm glossy paper and assembled it with silicone so I could mould the flowers easily. Sentiment is computer generated and I finished the whole thing off with MS doily punch, ribbon, bow and white pearls.

Below is a close up the gorgeous flowers.

Have a nice evening and bye for now xx

The backing paper is from the Papermania "A Wonderful Christmas Time", and used my MS doily punch and SU oval punches again!!!
Hope you've all had a good weekend xxx

Navy and White

Used my new Stampin' Up Scalloped Oval punches and my new Martha Stewart border punch, the die cut flower is one I got from the imag-e-nation shop a couple of years ago and finished it off with ribbon and pearls as usual.

And another ....

I keep forgetting I've got dozens of Morehead sheets that I bought years ago when I first started cardmaking. Good thing about them is they never go out of fashion so I'll probably be using them for years to come.
Used my new MS punch again and finished it all of with ribbon, pearls and punched flowers.

Little Morehead Girl

Finally got my Martha Stewart doily punch .. had to wait ages for it but it was well worth the wait .. I love it!!
Wasn't too sure if it would punch through the cardstock I was using but crossed my fingers and it went through with no problem at all, saying that the card wasn't that thick so don't think I'd dare try it on something thicker.
I'm in the progress of making another Morehead one so I'll post that when I've finished it.
Hope you're all enjoying your Bank Holiday Weekend xx

Imag-e-nation Challenge card

Made this one for the imag-e-nation challenge hosted by Pippa. Not entered one of these for a while .. just not had the time .. but after not entering the last one and getting a right rousting from the host Lynn!! lol ... I thought I'd better make the effort and enter Pippa's before I upset anyone else!!!
This one was easy to do as it had to be for a child between the age of 1 and 12 and for any occasion apart from new baby and christening. I've left it blank so I can add a sentiment later.
I came a very respectable 2nd so I'm well chuffed .. thanks for hosting it Pippa.
Bye for now xx

Hope you all had a great weekend xx

The card stock is SU Mellow Moss and the red paper is from the SU Summer Picnic range.
The rose is a die-cut image I bought from the imag-e-nation shop yonks back. Just finished it all off with a few pearls and not a ribbon or bow in sight .... think I need to go for a lie down!!!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend xx

Back to basics

The second of the Flippin' Christmas cards.
No fancy papers on this one .. just plain and simple peel offs coloured in with peel off pens.
I'll be back with the last one tomorrow.

Santa Claus is coming to town!!

This is the first of three cards I've made using the fantastic new "Flippin' Christmas" sheets from La Pashe.
Made a bit of a boo boo on this one cos stuck him a bit too high so he looks like he's sitting on the poor cat's head!!!! Once I'd realised what I'd done it was too late and I couldn't unstick him so the poor cat has now got a permanent headache! lol! Sorry puss!!
Pop over and see what Jak, Toni and Jackie have done with their sheets.
Have a nice day and I'll be back with another one tomorrow (done right this time lol!)

Little Ballerina

This quick and easy card was made for little Jessica who just loves all things to do with ballet dancing. It's a layout I've used hundreds of time before but it's looks different everytime depending on which image and backing paper is used.
I coloured her tutu and ribbons in with stickles.
See you soon.

For My Dad

My Dad loves trains and steam engines so thought this Remember When image from La Pashe was absolutely perfect for him.
Don't have to worry about slushy verses for him though .. he never reads them .. just shakes the card to see how much money falls out!! LOL!!
Happy Fathers Day Dad xx

Isn't she lovely

I just love this stamped image ... she's so sweet.
I coloured this one in just using Whisper Pens ... I know there isn't a lot of shading going on but I really like how she turned out and I'll definitely be using them again on their own. I've got quite a few Copic Caio markers too but not had the opportunity to use them yet. I'll let you see the results when I get round to it!!
Enjoy the rest of your evening and see you soon xx

Bunnies with pots and spots!

My second attempt at colouring in a stamped image (thanks Jackie). Used pencil crayons and Whisper pens (still can't get my head round water colouring!!!).
Used black card for the base and then ran the coloured card through the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder, used Romance board for the scalloped edges and finished off with ribbon and a bow.
See you later.
